Cycling along the Overijsselse Vecht

Dalfsen is a beautiful village in the Salland region. The village was officially named for the first time in 1231. It is the only large town on the Overijsselse Vecht that never received city rights. Get off here at Hotel and Restaurant De Barones! The region is known for the many estates, castles, country estates, gardens and other remains from the Golden Age. This way you pass Den Doorn Estate. The house was built in the seventeenth century, but also contains elements of the late Gothic period. In Dalfsen you will see the Westermolen: a beautiful, thatched octagonal tower mill from 1818. The De Leemcule estate was mentioned as early as 1434. The beautifully moated country house was expanded again in 1824. You also pass through the nice Hanseatic town of Hasselt.
