The 4 Days: The day of Groesbeek (3) - 30 km

The third day of the Four Days Marches in Nijmegen is the Day of Groesbeek. The route is hilly on this day, especially between Groesbeek and Berg en Dal. This day the route runs south of Nijmegen on the east side of the Maas. Via Mook and Milsbeek the climb starts to Groesbeek. Many walkers consider this the most beautiful day of the Four Days Marches. You can spend the night at Mini Camping De Hoge Hof, just above Groesbeek. The'men in uniform\\\' always stop nearby at the Canadian military cemetery to pay tribute to the soldiers who fell during World War II. NB: this is an adapted walking route, not on the infamous Zevenheuvelenweg (car-free during the Four Days Marches). This route runs parallel to this main road through nature.
