Just a cup of coffee at Van der Valk Hotel Groningen - Hoogkerk and then: on to the dolmens! At Midlaren you will find the dolmens D04 and D03, together called the Hunenborg. They are nicely hidden between two old farms, along a romantic sandy path. The city of Groningen is located on the northern extension of the Hondsrug, the dolmen region of the Netherlands. It is therefore not surprising that you can see them so beautifully near here. You also drive through the city itself. It is worth getting off the bus and walking onto the Grote Markt. Also worth a visit: the Vismarkt with a number of beautiful buildings and the Korenbeurs, where there was a lot of trading in the nineteenth century.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
