Description
From Jeu de Boer you take a tour through the Green Heart. A beautiful route through traditional Dutch landscapes of water, historic farms and panoramic views... How wonderful it is to cycle in our own little country. You will soon pass through Koudekerk aan den Rijn, a beautiful village where you will see some beautiful old buildings. Just past Hoogmade you will see the Vlietmolen, a polder mill from 1913. In the polders of the Groene Hart you can get a breath of fresh air and enjoy the peace and quiet. On the edge of Alphen aan den Rijn you cycle past the Zegerplas, a sand quarry from 1964. A little later you drive through the polders around Rietveld, where you will see many tree nurseries. After getting off it is time for a snack and drink at Jeu de Boer.
