A cultural-historical walk Garderen-Bergsham

Go for a nice walk in one of the greenest municipalities in the Netherlands, between natural deciduous forest with gradual transitions to beautiful heathlands. Badgers, roe deer and wild boars like to live there, and if you are lucky you will see a red deer darting between the trees. Pine martens and foxes like to scrape together for a living, and the presence of the bottlenose ant is special, which actually only occurs in northern and higher areas.

The diversity of trees, mushrooms and plants is great, very great. You can see Bundle Knight mushrooms from a great distance, and the rare juniper bush, which you can admire on the Bergham moor, is also special. The juniper is flanked by bush verge, sand sedge and pill sedge, while holly, valleywort and helleborine grow in the woods.
