Description
From Station Valkenburg you can take a beautifully varied walk. You walk past a number of historical sights, such as castles. You will find beautiful views on the natural hills. In Valkenburg you will pass De Oude Molen, an ancient water mill on the Geul. Just outside the village you pass the Wilhelminatoren, a striking building from 1906 that stands at the top of the Heunsberg. From the top you have a beautiful view! A little later you walk into the Gerendal, one of the most beautiful places in South Limburg. Get off at Taverne't Koetshoes located on the Geul.
