Description
From your starting point you immediately have a beautiful view of Zuylen Castle, but you will see the castle from much closer today. A view like this is appealing, so you first walk past Slot Zuylen. The one and a half hectare territory is fenced off with a 120 meter long snake wall that, like a number of buildings on the site, is on the list of national monuments. The castle is open to visitors (for a fee). Then you continue walking towards the center of Utrecht. A little further on you cross the Vecht and walk back along the other side. This river is known for its many country estates, Slot Zuylen is in good company!
