I planned this route to the Strawberry Terrace in Zundert through the beautiful Mastbos of Breda. The Mastbos, located south of Breda, is one of the oldest coniferous forests and the oldest cultivated forest in the Netherlands. Count Henry III of Nassau had the forest planted from 1505 with Scots pine seeds from Germany. ... Until 1899, the forest belonged to our royal family.
The return journey takes the other side of Breda
