Ferry route Rotterdam and Kinderdijk

This cycle route starts nice and lazy: you take a succession of ferries to the center of Rotterdam. Pass under the Van Brienenoord Bridge, all the way to the iconic Erasmus Bridge, which you will also pass under. That's nice arriving in the city, you can see the skyline getting closer! In Rotterdam you can relax with a cup of coffee at Café Postiljon before following the river back by bike. You cycle past the Oude Haven with its cube houses to the Van Brienenoord Bridge. At the Nesserdijk it seems as if you have left the city far behind, what a peace of mind all of a sudden. You drive all the way to Kinderdijk, where sixteen polder windmills were built in 1738 to protect the village against the water. UNESCO World Heritage!
