Between Geldrop and Mierlo you drive a short route that takes you through forest and heath. You will also pass the Geldrop Petting Zoo. A fun route for the kids.
Kempen Heath sheep
From De Strabrechtse Hoeve you quickly drive onto the Strabrechtse Heide. This vast heathland shows what large parts of Brabant used to be like. It is wonderfully quiet in the middle of the heath. Unless you come across the herd of Kempense Heath sheep: a fun experience! Just before Heeze you cross the Kleine Dommel. A nice moment to enjoy the idyllic landscape and take a photo.
Little Dommel
In the heart of Geldrop you will find a special atmosphere thanks to the beautiful monumental buildings. Here you will see, among other things, St. Brigida's Church from 1891, an impressive structure. Further on you will pass the Geldrop Petting Zoo, a nice stop off. Behind the petting zoo is the English landscape park of Geldrop Castle. Finally, you drive through Mierlo and the forests of the Molenheide nature reserve. Breathe in the forest air before grabbing a terrace at De Strabrechtse Hoeve.
