Tour of Delft and Delftse Hout

Today you cycle straight through this historic town where Delft Blue originated. Delft has grown into a lively student city, the quieter outskirts of Delft form a great contrast to the bustling center. You will also pass the Groeneveldse Mill, a ground sailor in Schipluiden was built in 1719. In the"play mill park\\\" next to the mill you can see a number of mill tools grinding, sifting and mixing grain on a small scale. Another beautiful mill that deserves a special mention is De Roos: the last remaining mill of the fifteen windmills that once stood on the city walls of Delft. You cycle back through the Delftse Hout city park, where the Grote Plas is located.
