E-bike route: peace and space around Barchem

On your bike ride you will be taken through an ash landscape with old wooded banks and lovely water streams. You cycle through atmospheric towns and past historic buildings such as the Zwiepse Molen, the Hollandsche Molen and the De Heest estate, at the foot of the Lochemse Berg. This estate is magically situated on the banks of the river De Berkel. At the beginning of the twentieth century, the house on the estate was renovated and a coach house and a drawbridge were added. These renovations make the estate look less old than it actually is. The English garden with height differences and border garden makes the estate a romantic location.
