Get to know the Langstraat

With this route you cycle through De Langstraat, located to the west of's-Hertogenbosch and north of Tilburg, based on cycling junctions. An educational route with a nod to the shoe and leather industry. Less visible nowadays, but companies in De Langstraat still play an important role in the trade, logistics and design of shoes and leather. The route consists of an eastern part and a western part. You can cycle them separately or link them together. Along the way you will come across 18 interesting'Hotspots\\\', which together tell you more about the shoe and leather industry in De Langstraat; for many years the center of the Dutch shoe and leather industry. App'Hotspot Brabant\\\' This route can be cycled using the route app Hotspot Brabant, which can be downloaded for free in the Apple and Android stores. The route is divided into a red and blue route. They are 40 to 45 kilometers long and can be started at any point. Hotspot Brabant is the project-based and regional partnership between three tourist offices in Central Brabant: Het Heusdens Bureau for Tourism, Tourism & UITpunt Waalwijk and VVV Kaatsheuvel Loon op Zand en De Moer.
