Description
This route will take you the best hightlights of Utrechtse Heuvelrug, starting at Estate Prattenburg you cycle through through nature reserve before arriving at Kasteel Amerongen. After cycling to the west you go through Leersum our wedding location, you reach Museum Huis Doorn where refreshments are available.
A short cycle up (can also walk!) you reach Châlet Helena Hill, the best viewpoint of the area. Cycling north on route 6 you reach Pyramide van Austerlitz build by Napoleon when he occupied the Netherlands in 1804. Cycling back home you pass Gran Canal Kasteel Renswoude, build in 1350 and renovated several times since. Via route 37 you cycle back to Hotel Van der Valk Veenendaal.
