Description
This lovely route will take you to the closest historic sites of Veenendaal. It will start at Estate Prattenburg, with a cycle through nature you reach Kasteel Amerongen, build in 1674 on site of a medieval castle. On your way back you cycle past Kwintelooyen which is an amazing 3km walk in nature.
Cycling past the hotel to the North you can refuel yourself with Dutch Pancakes at Pannenkoekenhuis de Bijenmarkt. After a refreshment you will reach within 10min cycle Gran Canal Kasteel Renswoude, build in 1350 a beautiful historic site. A short cycle back to the hotel and the sauna is waiting for you!
