The 60th anniversary of Miffy - Dick Bruna

Who doesn't know her, the cute bunny with her stubborn ears and her way too big dress. Dick Bruna, from Utrecht, created Miffy Pluis in 1955 and the fact that the rabbit is turning sixty is a reason for celebration. In the Dick Bruna House, a museum that opened in 2006, children can see even more of Miffy and also do crafts and draw themselves. The name of the city has its origins in Latin (\\\"Traiectum\\\") and refers to a place where the Rhine could be crossed in Roman times. The city's landmark is undoubtedly the imposing Dom Tower, which at 112.32 meters is the highest church tower in the Netherlands.
