Tour of Mechelen from Parkstad

The route first takes you into the hills near Bocholtz, a beautiful village on the border between Limburg and Germany. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the characteristic cultural history. Then you cycle through the beautiful German village of Orsbach. In Holset you can see the old HH Lambertus and Genoveva church. The border village of Oud-Lemiers enjoys a protected village view. Here you can see, among other things, the twelfth-century St. Catherine's Chapel. What a special atmosphere! You cycle through Vijlen, a village high up near the Vijlenerberg. On the Geul lies the picturesque Mechelen, a village where you can see characteristic half-timbered houses and where the church stands on a church hill. You cycle back through Eys, with its square farms and the beautiful St. Agatha's church from 1734.
