Tour of Mechelen from Parkstad

Your cycling route starts with a cup of coffee at Hotel Winselerhof. The route first takes you into the hills near Bocholtz, a beautiful village in the border area of Limburg and Germany. You can enjoy the peace and quiet and the characteristic cultural history here. Then you drive through the beautiful German village of Orsbach. In Holset you can see the old HH Lambertus and Genoveva Church. The border village of Oud-Lemiers enjoys a protected village view. Here you will see, among other things, the twelfth-century St. Catherine's Chapel. What a special atmosphere! You cycle through Vijlen, a high-altitude village near the Vijlenerberg. The picturesque Mechelen is located on the Geul, a village where you see characteristic half-timbered houses and where the church stands on a church hill. Back you cycle through Eys, with its square farms and the beautiful St. Agatha Church from 1734.
