Tour of the coast and Delft from Maassluis

From here you cycle to the pleasant Maassluis. In the nineteenth century, Maassluis became world famous due to a towing company. The Gemeentemuseum gives you a good impression of the interesting history of the port town. The Staelduinse Bos lies on former river dunes. It was established as an estate in the nineteenth century and consists mainly of old deciduous forest. Via the coast at Monster and Ter Heijde you cycle to Naaldwijk and the beautiful historic centre of Delft. Just outside the city you discover the Abtswoudse Bos. On the way back you cycle through the beautiful Maassluis, a picturesque centuries-old reclamation village. Maasland enjoys a protected village view. Due to the many well-preserved centuries-old houses, time seems to have stood still here.
