Tour of the coast and Delft from Maassluis

This e-bike route starts with a cup of coffee at't Sonnetje. From here you drive to the nice Maassluis. In the nineteenth century, Maassluis became world famous for being a towage company. The Municipal Museum gives you a nice picture of the interesting history of the harbor town. The Staelduinse Bos is located on former river dunes. It was set up as an estate in the nineteenth century and consists mainly of old deciduous forest. Via the coast at Monster and Ter Heijde you cycle to Naaldwijk and the beautiful historic center of Delft. Just outside the city you will discover the Abtswoudse Bos. You cycle back through the beautiful Maassluis, a picturesque ancient mining village. Maasland enjoys a protected village view. Due to the many well-preserved centuries-old houses, time seems to have stood still here.
