Experience the tranquility of the Achterhoek

You will find plenty of peace in the Achterhoek. Ideal for a bike ride if you want to relax for a day. The first kilometers you drive on low-traffic roads through the bocage landscape. Just before junction 58 you will see the Teunismolen, a flour mill from 1822. Just before you enter Lintelo, you will see the Wenninkmolen from 1860 on your right. At junction 42 you will pass listening point L73 from the Liberation Route. A little further on you drive through the Idink-Nibbelinkbos, a remnant of the old Kampen landscape that used to be found in large parts of the Achterhoek. You cycle along the Oude IJssel to Gendringen. Here you see the Martinuskerk and the Sint-Maartenkerk in quick succession. At Cafeteria Te Pas you can enjoy a delicious meal, after which you drive back into the Achterhoek via the Engbergen nature reserve
