Experience the tranquility of the Achterhoek

In the Achterhoek you will find plenty of peace and quiet. Ideal for a bike ride if you want to unwind for a day. The first few kilometres you will cycle on car-free roads through the coulisse landscape. Just before junction 58 you will see the Teunismolen, a corn mill from 1822. Just before you enter Lintelo, you will see the Wenninkmolen from 1860 on the right. At junction 42 you will pass listening spot L73 from the Liberation Route. A little further on you will cycle through the Idink-Nibbelinkbos, a remnant of the old Kampen landscape that used to be found in large parts of the Achterhoek. Along the Oude IJssel you will cycle to Gendringen. Here you will see the Martinuskerk and the Sint-Maartenkerk right after each other. At Cafetaria Te Pas you can enjoy a delicious meal, after which you will cycle back into the Achterhoek via the Engbergen nature reserve
