Tour of Middelburg and Domburg from Vrouwenpolder

This cycling route starts at Duinhotel Breezand in Vrouwenpolder, a beautiful old village around the Pilgrim Church from 1622. On Walcheren you can cycle through the polders and characteristic villages. This route takes you through Domburg, Middelburg and along the Veerse Meer. In Middelburg there are many beautiful old buildings on the inner harbor, it is wonderful to experience the atmosphere. Afterwards you can get some fresh air in the polders. In the old cozy seaside resort of Domburg you will see some beautiful monumental buildings. On the Markt you can see the former town hall from 1567 and the fifteenth-century church. You drive back past Westhove Castle. The history of this building goes back to the Middle Ages. The Terra Maris Museum is located in the orangery. You can enjoy a beautiful panorama from the recreated motte-and-bailey castle.
