Poetry in the land of Altena

The beauty of our area is celebrated in 28 places, from Werkendam to Aalburg, from Woudrichem to Hank, in Uppel, Oudendijk and Babylonienbroek. The poems add something, broaden the view or invite meditation. People will see the region with new eyes! There is a poetry collection with regional poems, which is also a tourist guide for cyclists or walkers who want to take a tour of the sung places. Based on the junction network, you can choose from 5 routes. These vary in length from 30 to 45 km and allow you to experience the Land of Altena in all its facets. You drive over dikes with beautiful views, through tranquil villages and past historical monuments. You experience the vastness and intimacy of the landscape. the routes can also be purchased separately.
