Description
The cycling route Discover De Maashorst and Uden (approx. 50 kilometers) connects the De Maashorst nature reserve, the city of Uden and the surrounding area. Along the way you can stop at the Museum of Religious Art and the Bedafse Bergen. The museum is located in a wing of a still inhabited monastery and presents one of the most beautiful collections of religious art. The Bedafse Bergen were created by sand drifts and contain the highest drift sand ridges in North Brabant. De Maashorst is the largest nature reserve in Brabant (3500 ha). There are many badger setts in the area, due to the height difference and the tranquility. You will also find herds of Scottish Highlanders and sheep in the grazing areas.
