Enjoy the beauty of the Maas

In North Limburg you can enjoy cycling along the meandering Maas. You will pass through beautiful nature reserves and historic towns where you can admire beautiful buildings. Every now and then you can dream away for a moment as you look out over the rippling water.

Rozendorp Lottum
You drive through the forests of the Blerickse Bergen and the Koelbroek to Grubbenvorst. The Slottermolen is located here on the Everlose Beek. The mill part dates from the fourteenth century, the rest of the building from 1849. Just north of the village you will pass Huis De Steeg, a mansion from 1750. Around Lottum you will notice how many roses grow here: every year\'t twenty million cultivated.

Hanseatic city of Venlo
You cross the Maas via a ferry. There is also plenty to do on the right bank. Like in Venlo where you cycle along the hip and cozy Maasboulevard. If you want to see something of old Venlo, you can cycle to the Markt or the Gasthuisstraat, the most medieval street in the Netherlands.
