The Koelbroek is a relatively new nature reserve that has formed from an old Maasmeander. Seepage water occurs naturally in this area, so the soil is relatively wet. You mainly walk through an alder marsh forest. The Blerickse Bergen consists of a gently sloping area of former shifting dunes. Conifers mainly grow in the dry soil. Occasionally you said American bird cherry. It is wonderfully quiet walking here, especially at the Mortelsven. More deciduous trees grow around this fen. At the edge of the forest you can sometimes hear the meowing of a buzzard.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
