Tour along the water at Maassluis and Maasdijk

Your cycle route starts at Paviljoen de Duinrand. You drive along the Brielse Meer to the nice Maassluis. In the nineteenth century, Maassluis became world famous for being a towage company. The Municipal Museum gives you a nice picture of the interesting history of the harbor town. You will also pass corn mill De Hoop, a round tower mill from 1792. Historic Brielle is a place where cultural history is kept alive, because the city has still preserved the old defenses.
