Get on your bike and enjoy! Enjoy cycling along the beach, with the salty sea air and a breeze blowing through your hair. From Ter Heijde you cycle through Monster towards Wateringen. A little further on is the Groeneveldse Molen. This was built in 1719 and replaces a mill that was struck by lightning. This polder mill drained the Groeneveldsepolder. Enjoy the wide view of the typical Dutch polders. You cycle right through the Kraaiennest, a small nature and recreation area where you can spot black-tailed godwits and lapwings. De Lier is a picturesque place to get off and have a look around. Take a lunch or coffee break here at De Bongaard! Back at your starting point you can take a dip or take a walk on the beach.
