Description
Lottum is the rose village of the Netherlands. You cycle around the village past wonderfully scented rose fields, but there is more to see around Lottum. The landscape here is varied with drifting sand dunes, heathlands and forests. This route also takes you along the banks of the Maas. The starting point of this cycle route is in the Schuitwater nature reserve. In the center of Lottum you will find De Rozenhof, a knowledge center where you can learn everything about rose cultivation. Next to the center you will find the Top Rose Garden with beautifully landscaped rose beds. On the rest of the route you will continue to enjoy the beautiful landscape and the flowers in this area. Get off on the other side of the Maas at B&B La Dominotte Arcen!
