Visit the Berkelland

Ruurlo is a pleasant town with a beautiful historic core. Fun to explore from the saddle. You can see here, among other things, the fourteenth-century village church. From 2017, a second branch of Museum MORE will be located in the castle. You can view paintings by Carel Willink at this beautiful location. Groenlo was a fortified town for centuries. Although most of the fortifications have been demolished, you can still see the Mussenberg stronghold (also known as Kanonswal or Noorderbastion). There are a number of sights in the center, such as the Old Calixtus Church, which was built between 1275 and 1520. In picturesque Borculo you will pass the Olliemölle / Stenen Tafel, an eighteenth-century flour mill on the Berkel. The route starts at Camping Reusterman, relax here after a wonderful bike ride.
