Sandwiched between Zeeland and Flanders lies a special region: the Brabantse Wal. During this cycling tour you will become acquainted with the Brabant wall. Shifting sand areas, estates, wooded areas, small fens and picturesque forest ponds. You start at the parking lot at Huijbergen. You will pass the De Wouwse plantation estate, a beautiful area to cycle through. Birds like to breed in the trees, between the bushes and on the edge of the Borgvlietse Duinen that form the drifting sand area. You will also be amazed at Landgoed Lievensberg. This beautiful wooded area consists mainly of deciduous and coniferous forests. The area is landscaped in a park-like manner with picnic areas, a heath garden and a pond. Halfway you can take a break at Het Raedthuys in Hoogerheide. Enjoy a snack and a drink in the cozy, homely bistro.
