Description

The city center of Delft is wonderful for walking: Delft has one of the most beautiful city centers in the Netherlands. The historic buildings are all well preserved. During this walking route you walk past canals and monumental buildings. The starting point of the route is Royal Delft, the only pottery factory left from the 17th century. Stroll through the museum and the factory here or stop by Brasserie1653 for a snack or a drink. The brasserie has a beautiful terrace in the courtyard, a hidden gem of Delft! During the walk you walk past the Nieuwe Kerk. This church is known for the mausoleum of William of Orange and the crypt of the Royal House. Discover the center and enjoy the history that is still palpable and visible everywhere
