The city centre of Delft is a wonderful place to walk: Delft has one of the most beautiful city centres in the Netherlands. The historic buildings have all been well preserved. During this walking route you will walk along canals and monumental buildings. The starting point of the route is Royal Delft, the only remaining pottery factory from the 17th century. Walk through the museum and the factory or stop at Brasserie1653 for a bite to eat or a drink. The brasserie has a beautiful terrace in the courtyard, a hidden gem of Delft! During the walk you will walk past the Nieuwe Kerk. This church is known for the magnificent tomb of William of Orange and the burial vault of the Royal House. Discover the city centre and enjoy the history that is still tangible and visible everywhere
