Description
Put on your walking shoes and discover the surroundings of the Westeinderplassen.This walk takes you past the flower auction, the cozy village of Kudelstaart and the edge of the Westeinderplassen, also called the Poel. This lake was created by the excavation of peat for peat extraction. Kudelstaart is known as a water sports resort and is also called the Saint-Tropez of the Low Countries. The village is also known for the fort, which is part of the Defense Line of Amsterdam.
