Description
This route starts at the authentic Loppersum station and ends at Uithuizermeeden station.* You walk past a gas location, renovated buildings, national monuments, monumental churches, transitional houses, lost heritage and of course the beautiful Groningen countryside.
*Please note: from Uithuizermeeden you cannot take the train directly to Loppersum
This route has been compiled by the Groningen Soil Movement (GBB) association.
We represent more than 4,000 households in the earthquake zone and beyond. For more than ten years we have been committed to gas-drained Groningen residents. We do this by conducting legal proceedings, consulting with (local) government, organizing actions, lobbying politicians and by publicizing the problems in the media and beyond.
