Fault Lines Route

This route starts at the authentic Loppersum station. Easily accessible by both train and car (free parking). You cycle past a gas location, farm in struts, renovated buildings, national monuments, monumental churches, transitional houses, lost heritage and of course the beautiful Groningen countryside. This route has been put together by the Groningen Soil Movement (GBB) association. We represent more than 4,000 households in the earthquake zone and beyond. For more than ten years we have been committed to gas-drained Groningen residents. We do this by conducting legal proceedings, consulting with (local) government, organizing actions, lobbying politicians and by publicizing the problems in the media and beyond.
