Description
During this walk of over 12 kilometers you will discover the surroundings of Middelbeers. You start at Boutique Hotel and Grand Café De Beerze. A wonderful place to stay if you want to discover more of the area. You can also enjoy lunch or drinks here upon your return. During this walking route you will explore the Landschotse Heide. The Landschotse Heide is a rich bird area where the yellowhammer and stonechat, but also rare species such as the black-necked grebe and the black tern, have their breeding grounds. Bird lovers pay attention, because the Landschotsche Heide is the ideal place for birdwatching during the autumn migration. The area consists of moist heathland containing a number of large fens. Enjoy the beautiful views over the heath and fens.
