Picturesque Neer
From IJssalon Clevers Kessel you drive to the first sight on your route: Mill St. Antonius, a flour mill from 1802. It is nice and quiet to cycle through the farmlands. Before you know it, you will drive into picturesque Neer. You can grab a coffee and something tasty at Café Maneslust Biej Mieke. You will also pass the Friedesse Mill, a water mill built in 1717 for grinding corn.
Beesels Broek
You cross the Maas with a ferry, and on the other side you see Nieuwenbroek Castle, which was originally built around 1560. You drive a bit through the moist alder and poplar forest of Beesels Broek, it is unprecedentedly quiet here. Further on you drive past Wijngaard Hoeve Rozendael, a nice stop. After crossing the Maas, enjoy something tasty at IJssalon Clevers Kessel.
