Plenty of cultural history awaits you along the Limburg Maas, such as in Kessel and Neer. You will also find a lot of natural beauty. All the ingredients for a great day out!

Picturesque Neer
From IJssalon Clevers Kessel you drive to the first attraction on your route: Molen St. Antonius, a flour mill from 1802. It is nice and quiet to cycle through the farmlands. Before you know it, you'll be driving into picturesque Neer. Here you can grab a coffee with something delicious at Café Maneslust Biej Mieke. You will also pass the Friedesse Molen, a water mill that was built in 1717 for grinding corn.

Beesels Pants
You cross the Maas with a ferry, on the other side you see Nieuwenbroek Castle, which was originally built around 1560. You drive a bit through the moist alder and poplar forest of the Beesels Broek, it is incredibly quiet here. Further on you drive past Wijngaard Hoeve Rozendael, a nice drop-off. After you have crossed the Maas, you can enjoy something delicious at IJssalon Clevers Kessel.
