Cycling from Diever through the Drents-Friese Wold

At the start of this route, you cycle through the esdorp (village) of Diever. From here, you cycle straight into the national park to Appelscha. After the Hoge Veluwe National Park, this national park is the largest contiguous forest area in the Netherlands, but you'll find more than just forests. You'll also pass vast heathlands and sand drifts. From Appelscha, you cycle back to Diever. There, you can relax at Landhotel & Restaurant Diever for a well-deserved snack and drink. Still haven't had enough of the beautiful surroundings? Then book an overnight stay at the hotel and continue your journey the next day. What makes the Drents-Friese Wold so special is its wide variety of nature. You'll find both dry and wet areas here.
