Your walk today starts with a cup of coffee at Café Tinus in Panningen. Then you put on your walking shoes for a walk through the greenery around the village. First you walk through the center of the adjacent village of Helden. Here you see the fifteenth-century St. Lambertus Church. Then you will discover the Gruise Epper nature reserve. By the way, that should actually have been Grieze Upper: gray infertile sand, high up. The beautiful green landscape is no longer reminiscent of the barren soil of the past. You walk back towards Panningen via the rural hamlet of Keup. In Panningen itself you can take a look at the striking Church of Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows, which was built in 1931. Then you return to your starting point. Anyone fancy a cup of coffee?
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
