Tour of Kessel and Steijl from Panningen

Your route starts at Café Tinus in Panningen. From here you drive through Dubbroek, a nature reserve in an old Meuse bed. Here you see ash, pedunculate oak and black alder. Around junction 59 you seem to cycle back in time thanks to some beautiful old farms. Then you take the ferry to Steyl. Here you drive through the old village center with some beautiful monuments, such as a villa built in Art Nouveau and the Sint Michaël Mission House from 1875. In Kessel you cross the Maas again. Visit Keverberg Castle here, a uniquely restored ruin with a beautiful view over the Maas. The beautiful green Gruise Epper nature reserve is beautiful to drive through. In the Heldense Bossen you can cycle peacefully among the fragrant conifers.
