Tour of Hill's, Overasselt, Wijchen and Bergharen

From Bergharen you can take a tour through the nature around Wijchen. First you cycle to the picturesque village of Hernen. From the Maasbandijk you have beautiful views over the floodplains and the river. Now that's fun cycling! You pass the Rainbow Bridge to Grave. In the Lower Asselt floodplains you will pass the Kroonwerk Coehoorn. You can still discover the contours of the bastion from the bushes in the field! Just past junction 44 you pass Erpewaai. This nature reserve is typical of the river area: it consists of forest, swamp and gullies. Further on you drive through the Heumense Bos, and the Overasseltse & Hatertse Vennen are also on your route. Via Wijchen you drive back to Hill\\\'s along the Leurse Bos. Time for a tasty snack and drink!
