Tour of Oude Buisse Heide, Mastbos and Mark

Your route starts in the beautiful Markdal. Since 2004, the Mark has meandered here again. You cycle right past reed beds and flowery grasslands while looking out over the rippling water. From here you cross to Zundert, the birthplace of Van Gogh. A little further on you cycle onto the Oude Buisse Heide, an estate that consists of a mix of forest and small-scale agricultural land. The poet Henriette Roland Holst was inspired by this beautiful landscape. Many celebrities visited here. You will also discover the Mastbos, from the sixteenth century. The forest is particularly valuable, like a natural museum.
