Tour of Kagerplassen from Kagereiland

Your route starts at Brasserie Matt\\\'s, where you can look out over beautiful ships thanks to the large jetty. The Kagerplassen are beautiful to see. On the west side you will also find bulb fields here and there, because the Bulb Region borders this area. There are also plenty of windmills here. You cycle past the Broekdijkmolen, among other things. The original mill collapsed during a storm in 1972 and burned down due to overheating, in 1974 another mill was installed. During the tour you can also marvel at the many beautiful buildings in Oegstgeest or old villages such as Warmond, which has a protected villagescape thanks to the dozens of monuments. Here you pass the Huys te Warmont. The left tower is a remnant of a medieval keep.
