Hidden gems of Amsterdam

Also in the heart of Amsterdam it is easy to avoid the tourist crowds and enjoy beautiful, somewhat hidden streets with old architecture, cozy benches and plants and flowers on the street and over nice bridges and along beautiful canals.

Of course there is the occasional well-known and busy part, but this route goes as much as possible through the hidden gems of the city, such as the Entrepotdok with its warehouses that have been converted into residential lofts, the stately and quiet Henri Polakstraat, the public part of Artis, the courtyard of the Hermitage, nice terraces at the Kerkstraat / café Marcella and Nel, a hidden walk that suddenly takes you in front of the Zuiderkerk.
