E-bike route Heart of Drenthe

Cycle through the Heart of Drenthe: you will find 5000 hectares of contiguous nature areas here! Outside the woods, you can take in characteristic villages, such as Borger and Westerbork. In Boswachterij Hooghalen you will pass Memorial Center Camp Westerbork. It is worth a visit to this impressive place, be sure to take time for this. There are two watchtowers on your route to view the area from above: at junction 58 and at junction 6. Numerous historic buildings can be admired in the various villages you cycle through. On the Hoofdstraat in Zwiggelte you can see a few beautiful eighteenth-century farms and in the green village of Westerbork is the fifteenth-century Stefanus Church.
