The Hollandse Wildspot route is a route around the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen nature reserve. The route invites you to combine cycling with shorter or longer walks in the unique dune area.
Go enjoy!
In the Amsterdam Waterleidingduinen you can fully enjoy peace and space. It is exclusively intended for hikers and you can also stroll off the paths here. Along the way there is a good chance that you will encounter a beautiful fallow deer.
The dune is no less than 3400 hectares in size, which is approximately 5 km wide and 10 km long, and is located between Zandvoort and Noordwijk. Here, 2/3 of the drinking water for Amsterdam is pre-purified. Nature and purifying water have been going together beautifully here since 1853.
Two fixed walking routes start at each main entrance, easy to follow via colored posts. There are also a few beautiful walking routes that you can walk via a map, and two fun children's routes with assignments. View all walking routes
here . You can download them yourself, walk with your smartphone or buy them at the visitor center.
