Short walking route near Roggel

From Recreatiepark de Leistert you can walk straight into nature. It is wonderfully peaceful to walk in this sparsely populated area. In the Ophovense Zandberg nature reserve you can walk between coniferous and deciduous trees. Here and there are grassed heathlands where peat fluff grows. Here too you can enjoy the Limburg silence on the sandy paths. And the fresh air. This area used to be much wetter, which can be seen from some of the old dikes. In the woods you have a chance to spot a deer or bird of prey. Back you walk past meadows and fields. You dive into a nice secret path through the greenery, exciting for children!
