Cycling along the water at Belt-Schutsloot

At the start of this route you cycle through the Voorsterbos. You can also spot deer here if you are lucky. From here you cycle through Marknesse to the fortified town of Vollenhoven. Here you will find, among other things, the Sint Niklaas Church, the Oldruitenborgh manor house and Plattenburg Castle. A little further on in Sint-Jansklooster you can enter the Wieden visitor center. Here you can learn more about the surrounding nature reserve. In Belt-Schutsloot you can settle down at Petit restaurant het Otterswold. Here you can enjoy a well-deserved snack and a drink. You have a beautiful view from the terrace, so be sure to take a seat here if the weather permits. From here you continue to Kragenburg.
