Cycling along the water at Belt-Schutsloot

At the start of this route you cycle through the Voorsterbos. You can also spot deer here if you are lucky. From here you cycle through Marknesse to the fortified town of Vollenhoven. Here you will find the Sint Niklaas Church, the Oldruitenborgh manor and Plattenburg Castle. A little further on in Sint-Jansklooster you can visit the Wieden visitor center. Here you can learn more about the surrounding nature reserve. In Belt-Schutsloot you can visit Petit restaurant het Otterswold. Here you can enjoy a well-deserved snack and a drink. You have a beautiful view from the terrace, so be sure to take a seat here if the weather permits. From here you cycle further to Kragenburg.
