Cycling through the dunes of Katwijk and Noordwijk

Via Katwijk aan Zee you drive through the Coepelduynen, a varied nature reserve of dune grasslands, dense shrubs and forest. You can enjoy the silence and the special natural beauty here. A special appearance is the Space Expo, definitely go here if you are interested in space travel. Then you drive through the historic heart of Noordwijk. Here you will see the old town hall, the fifteenth-century Oude Jeroenskerk and the Lindenplein. Via Katwijk aan Zee you drive to Berkheide, the next dune area. Here you see a mix of small valleys and parabolic dunes. The many dune roses that bloom in the spring are striking. In the past, dune pipits were grown here. You cycle along the Valkenburg lake to the Stal den Hollander farm shop. A nice place for a stopover!
