Cycling through the dunes of Katwijk and Noordwijk

Via Katwijk aan Zee you cycle through the Coepelduynen, a varied nature reserve of dune grasslands, dense bushes and forest. Here you can enjoy the silence and the special natural beauty. A special appearance is the Space Expo, definitely get off here if you are interested in space travel. Then you cycle through the historical heart of Noordwijk. Here you see the old town hall, the fifteenth-century Oude Jeroenskerk and the Lindenplein. Via Katwijk aan Zee you cycle to Berkheide, the next dune area. Here you see a mix of small valleys and parabolic dunes. Striking are the many dune roses that bloom in the spring. Dune pipits used to be grown here. Along the Valkenburg lake you cycle to the farm shop Stal den Hollander. A nice place for a stopover!
