Zeeland cycling from Renesse to Zierikzee

At 250 meters from the beach of Renesse you will find Strandpark De Zeeuwse Kust. From here you start this beautiful bike ride across the beautiful island of Schouwen-Duiveland. Via villages such as Scharendijk, Brouwershave and Kerkwerve you arrive at the Oosterschelde in Zierikzee. The Oosterschelde is the largest and wettest national park in the Netherlands. At low tide you can see the plates and mud flats, at high tide wind and water have free play. The nature reserve has a unique flora and fauna. Well-known are the seals and porpoises, which you see with some regularity - and some patience! - can see. At Serooskerke you leave the Oosterschelde for what it is and cycle back across the island towards Renesse. Enjoy a tasty snack and drink when you return to Strandpark De Zeeuwse Kust.
