Schouwen-Duiveland Castle Route

Once you get on your bike, you ride via Crayenstein Castle in Burgh-Haamstede to Haamstede Castle. Slot Moermond is located on the 45-hectare estate of the same name, a protected nature reserve. The castle dates from the thirteenth century. In 1953 the castle was seriously damaged by the flood disaster. The last sight is 't Huys Grol. Grol means green and that is exactly what you see here. Its history dates back to 1599.
